Instituto vs Lanús

After achieving good results throughout the season, especially at the beginning, Instituto managed to stay in the professional league for the following season, thus achieving its main goal.

Lanús is fighting to reach the next Copa Libertadores. Although reaching the group stage may seem like an impossible dream, the team is still fighting to reach the qualifying round.

Instituto's recent results have been quite inconsistent, with draws, wins and losses. The truth is that after two games without a win, the team returned to winning ways in the last game, against Arsenal de Sarandí, by 0-2.

Although the team was not one of the worst in the tournament, a total of 30 goals conceded led them to maintain a rather low defensive level, while the attack was not very good, with an average of less than one goal per game.

At home, the team managed four wins in the 13 games played, but it should be noted that the total number of goals scored rarely exceeded two, in fact, only two.

Lanús have performed very well compared to last season. With a total of 11 wins in 25 games, the Granate managed to climb to fifth place in the table.

The Granate's attack has been one of the highlights of the season, as it holds the fourth best goalscoring record, while defensively it has maintained an average of at least one goal per game.

Away games have not been entirely positive for El Granate. Despite suffering just three defeats in 13 games, with a total of seven draws, they are the team with the most draws this season.
